This piece is 3- D. The hand-cut pieces pop off the page creating a dynamic one of a kind piece. Each layer is cut and assembled using archival materials. It is all created with paper keeping things airy and light. It is framed in a black shadow box that is 2inch deep. Allowing the artwork to have space to pop off the page. This hand-cut piece pushes the viewer to explore our cities pushing against nature. It plays with being about to see two perspectives at once in a sky rise city building, seeing the building brick right across from you but also the city layout and floors of individual buildings. Waves rush towards the city bringing movement and organic life to our community.

This piece is one of kind, hand-drawn, hand-printed, and hand-cut.

Rebuild was created during the pandemic as our interaction, community, and cities began to change. What we knew began to crumble and the need to change came to the front.
